Michael Derkatch is the new owner of Texel Electric. Texel employs from 3 to 5 employees on a regular basis, including apprentices.
How it All Began...
The previous owner, Dennis Westdorp, began his electrical career in 1977 in Campbell River after completing his training at Camosun College in Victoria. He spent several years employed with Pulp and Sawmills around the Island. During his training in Victoria, Dennis came to appreciate the beauty of the city and sensed the business opportunities there and in 1992, in order to ensure employment, he started Texel Electric.
His background in industrial electrical gave him a head start in the business community.

Texel provides all aspects of electrical services including house calls for emergencies.
We have many years of experience with renovations, panel upgrades, data, cable, electric heat, new construction, commercial and residential, you name it! If you need an electrician, we have the know how.
We accept Mastercard and Visa to make billing and payment easier for our clients.
